I’m back in the saddle a day earlier than expected, since my brother Andy and his wife Christina, from Florida, left Tuesday afternoon to catch an early flight in Billings, Montana, Wednesday morning. For the past week, they have been visiting me here in Sheridan, Wyoming. Since they arrived last Thursday afternoon, we’ve attended a rodeo parade and my 40th high school class reunion and had dinner with friends. We also gathered with other family members to honor the memory of one of my uncles, who passed away last winter. For Andy and Christina’s seventh wedding anniversary, they were entertained by my singing group before eating dinner at a nice restaurant. Now that they’re gone, I need to shift back into work mode.

  1. Thanks to Patty for graciously allowing me to post on her blog from time to time. I hope you enjoyed my six-sentence story. It was a whirlwind week, but it’s good to be back to work again.
