If your work is posted on my Rambles blog, I ask that you consider taking responsibility for visiting your post, liking it, and leaving a comment. Please also be sure to check the box to receive future comments so that, when readers respond, you are able to engage with them. Engaging with your readers is an important and valued part of this process.
In the same spirit, I encourage you to visit the posts of other sponsors as well. Following the blog, and liking or commenting on others’ posts, helps strengthen the community we are building together. While I understand that everyone’s time is limited, this level of engagement is, as much as possible, an expectation for participation.
I would also very much appreciate it if you would consider sharing your posts—and the posts of others—on Facebook using your author or business pages. Many of you maintain these pages, and they are a wonderful space to highlight a variety of voices. Sharing the work of fellow authors and businesses, alongside your own, helps create balance, visibility, and mutual support.
Regarding seasonal posts, submissions are welcome as part of our ongoing themed features. When a seasonal post involves a participation cost, that information will be clearly stated in advance. This helps ensure transparency and allows everyone to decide what works best for them.

Sublime Sunday Reading is a perfect place for book reviews, written by you, for books you’ve read, or book reviews others have written for one of yours. Book Excerpts go well here too. Business owners, what are you reading? Pleasure? Business? Send it along: 5 PM Eastern on Friday.
Writer’s Grapevine Sips of Wine from the Grapevine Online Magazine
Rather than try to do a huge magazine I’ll be doing small E-Zines during these specified seasons. Your submissions are welcome and wanted.
Previous sponsoring members may guest post one from each category for free. Extra entries 4.00 dollars each.
Sponsoring members enter two entries per category. Additional entries are 2.00 dollars. Fall Equinox submissions begin entry date: September 3rd, 2023.
Winter Solstice submission begins entry date: December 3rd, 2023.
Spring Equinox begins submission date: March 3rd, 2024.
Summer Solstice begins entry date: June 3rd, 2024.
Submission Guidelines
It is strongly advised that you read posts from Patty’s Worlds and a copy of our magazine before submitting.

Please note, editors reserve the right to lightly edit pieces.
If needed, the editor will contact the contributor.
Formatting Requirements
Keyboard suggested commands are provided for Microsoft Word.
1. Font size: 12, type Font: Arial Black. Control D will allow you to make these changes.
2. Margins aligned left. If you indent, do not use your spacebar or tab key. To set margins in Word, press Alt P, then M, and adjust margins as needed.
3. Advert and News Nugget Announcements word count: 300/500. Check wordcount: Control Shift G.
4. Author’s Corner, Authors, They’re Only Human, Reading with the Authors, Business Corner, Tip articles, and What’s Up letters word count: 100/1500. Check wordcount: Control Shift G.
5. Poetry Place: No Line count. All types of poetry are welcome.
6. Submissions must come attached in a Word doc or RTF file, and the file title must be the same as the submission title and include your name and where you wish it published. Example: “Doggy Therapy Writers Grapevine Author’s Corner Patty Fletcher”. (I will allow pieces to come in the body of the email provided you do not allow any extraneous information into the submission.
7. Title and byline centered at the top of your submission. To center text in Word, select the text, then press Control E.
8. Include an author or business bio of 100 words or less. Bio will not count toward word count. Your website should be included in your bio. Do not place it in your byline. Contact information: Only one email, and phone number please.
9. Links should be clean. Example: Patty’s Worlds
To insert a hyperlink in Word, select the text, then press Control K, and enter or paste the URL.
10. Photos must be inserted into your piece with either alt text or a caption to photograph.
