October 28, 2023Hi Abbie. You’re quite welcome. I almost envy you and your snowstorm.
Bubba and I used to go out and play in them. I remember once, during a particularly big snowstorm he had to go out and so out we went and he dragged me all around the house at top-speed.
The first time Blue and I went out in the snow he was the perfect cautious guide until we got back into our courtyard in front of the apartment. Then he sat about eating snow as quick as he could catch the flakes.
LOL.

October 28, 2023Well, it’s only in the 20s. That might have been too cold for Bubba to play in the snow.

October 29, 2023I’m laughing as I type. Labradors are bred from “Labrador Canada” They were originally bred to retrieve water fowl from frozen lakes. Blue and other dogs like him, such as Bubba don’t even get comfortable until it’s down in the 50s and they especially love the colder 20s and 30s.
Blue doesn’t like strong wind but if it’s a normal wind with rain or snow, he’s in his element.
Bubba and I spent the last winter of his healthy cimi retirement taking long luxurious walks in the rain sleet and snow. If I could stand up on the ground we walked. Sometimes as much as 2 miles round trip, longer before he aged.
Blue is similar.
I cannot wait until we move back into a walkable area.
