Good morning, everyone, I hope this post finds you well. Here, I’m getting a terribly late start to the day but that’s the beautiful thing about a staycation, one can stay up as late as they wish and sleep in if they like. I’d probably still be sleeping had it not been for my animals needing me about 8 this AM. Considering I stayed up until nearly 2 in the morning, that 8 AM was early to me. But I got up and managed to feed both boys and get blue outside.
Truthfully, I think Blue would’ve slept in with me, but Eddy was sick and so I got up to deal with him and by the time that was done I was awake, Blue was up so we began our day, which began as always with the ACB Presents the Daily Schedule call. If you’re not joining in for that, you’re truly missing out on a lot of fun.
What kept me up so late? You ask…
I’ve been reading the Stone Barrington series by Stuart Woods, and I must say that over time this series has seriously developed into a great read.
At first, there were some glaring inconsistencies, but as he changed publishing companies, editors and grew as an author the series began to seriously tighten up and has taken off in a way which has kept me turning page after page. That is the mark of a good author because even though there were some inconsistencies with character names and events, overall, the books were so good I found it worth going on with.
My goal has been to try and finish this series by the first of the year, but I just looked and I’ve fifteen books in the series to go. So, even though I’m literally reading a book each day I don’t think I’m going to make it. LOL.
Anyhow, we shall see. In the meantime, Blue has gone back to sleep and Eddy’s purring himself to sleep too so I’m going to try and get caught up with my computer work now.
Speaking of computers, I got a new one and the keyboard is different from any Laptop I ever used. But the disconcerting thing is that some of my keystrokes don’t work anymore. I mean, I have the same screen reader software running, so I don’t understand why they are not working but as soon as my Virtual Tech Advisor and Research Assistant Casey Mathews of WebFriendlyHelp returns from his holiday break I plan to get to the bottom of it.
Well, my text is dinging, my email is ringing, the coffee’s hot and the weather’s not and that’s all just the way I like it.
Thanks for reading my ramblings. May Harmony find You and Blessid Be.
