Today, is the last day of national poetry month. I have written or worked on a poem every day.
Now it’s hopefully going to pan out.
Coming soon, I’ll be releasing a poetry book.
These poems are from some of the deepest recesses of my heart and soul I’ve ever unveiled.
I’m terrified and excited all at once.

Words on a Page

I read the following in my horoscope this morning.
I don’t know if I can. My creativity is 😱😱

Today suggests transformative possibilities, urging introspection and creative expression.

I’ve become afraid of words on a page
words which express
my deepest imaginings
I cower
I tremble
I hide in the bed
I cry
I shiver
my heart cracking again and again
damages done
can’t be undone
we know you cannot go back
stand and be true
hard to do
when you don’t know where you stand
miserable to know
no
wrong answer
I need to know
better that way
explanation I’d like to give
be allowed to go forward in some way
not the same thing at all
I curl in a ball
shake
rock
cry
bite my fingernails to the quick
cannot eat
tummy sick
please oh Mother Father God hear my plea
remove the black unknown
