Happy Day Everyone.
After the last several days and all the upset going around about our current pandemic, I decided I wanted to get a better grasp on things.
I tend to go in search of information for myself rather than listening to all the hype which can become distorted thus causing incorrect facts to spread, after which panic is sure to ensue.
This morning, I expressed a desire to learn more about and possibly do an article on past pandemics and how they compared to today as I was having conversation with a fellow blogger, and she sent me a link to explore.
I learned much. There is a huge lot of information and I only barely scratched the surface on reading it all, but my overall impression is that over the centuries there have been several significant pandemics and that there have also been changes both good and bad as time has progressed as well.
First, it appeared to me that on one hand earlier pandemics had the potential to and did kill more people than later pandemics but on the other hand with the various modes of world travel increasing the potential for diseases to spread increased.
While I believe today’s Corona Virus Disease is quite serious and that we must take every precaution to stop the spread of it round the world and save its people what I don’t believe we should do is become hysterical and go into extreme panic mode.
I believe that we must as much as possible while this pandemic is under way follow all policy and procedure protocol to the letter. I also believe that we should try as much as is possible to get our information from reliable sources and be very cautious when sharing said information.
Be sure that the information you share is correct. When sharing be sure to use the reference link from where you received your information and if you’re unsure of the information keep it to yourselves.
I also believe that we mustn’t make unreasonable demands upon those who are working diligently to keep us safe. We must realize that what was our normal life as early as last week is not going to be the normal today and that today’s normal may not be tomorrow’s normal.
As I sit typing this the birds are singing, Campbell is snoring, and though there is much concern round the world, I am at peace.
I’ve discovered that I need not be worried or afraid. I only need draw on my faith and know that I am in the palm of the creator and accept the will of the creator in my life to know that I am safe.
Though I don’t take a total What Will Be Will Be approach, and I am following protocol to keep myself well, I also know that what I plan for myself, might not be what the creator has in mind.
And with that thought I chant my daily affirmation. You may change this to match your higher power…
“There is no part of my life which does not belong to the Goddess.
There is no part of my body which does not belong to the Goddess.
I am she, and she is me.
We are one, yet we are we.
So Mote It Be.
Blessid Be.
Amen.”
Daily Prayer…
Join Me…
“Thank you for the sun.
Thank you now day’s begun, all our needs, wants, and desires they’re met.
Thank you for what we have and have not yet.
Thank you when this day is through, we will still be we and you will still be you.
Light our path.
Guide our way.
Give us what to do and say.
So Mote It Be.
Blessid Be.
Amen.”
The Four Agreements Ruiz, Miguel…
“Be impeccable with your word.
Don’t take anything personal.
Don’t assume anything.
Always do your best”
Reminder…
“Have a great day. And remember, it’s up to you to make it that way.
Joy is a choice.
Peace of mind is a choice.
Love is a choice.
Happiness is a choice.
Being satisfied is a choice.
Being well is a choice.”
We all forget this sometimes, become overwhelmed and even spout off, but at the end of the day, though we can’t control everything how we deal with what comes our way is up to us.
Love and Light to all.
