with no guilt
I spent the day
making ready
for my sister from SC to come my way
I worked to bleed off stress
by taking a walk
got my Monthly Macchiato
went to the morning’s ACB Presents the Daily Schedule show
learned sad news
but had laughter too
and I know
the one gone would’ve approved
she also would’ve been proud of my ability to leave things alone
and make ready for a new love and laughter to enter my home
with no guilt
these things came to be
and there’s another who should be thanked
for teaching me
I believe you know her
she’s a positive
glimmer Goddess kind of girl
and she’s taught us all
to sluff off the worries of the world
she taught us to manage our inner self
to work that committee
and now I can put my guilt
up on a shelf
let it cover over with dust
cobwebs and rust
let it sit there
till it rots and busts
you know why
cause it’s not healthy for us
and now I can enjoy my time
whenever I like
I encourage you all to have a look
no it’s not an author
although I think this one could indeed write a book
I’ve even dreamed up a title
plain as can be
Hunting the Glimmer
don’t you see
I know we could sell it
it works so well
and if you’ve not been doing this
you’re depriving yourselves
now I gotta rap it up
just heard my big Blue Dog
shaking jingling
wagging his tail
have a great day my friends
