Moon Phase Waxing Gibbous
if I had the words
I’d speak to you from my heart
I’d remind you of the not-so-distant past
I’d say to you
don’t forget from where we’ve come
if you allow this toppling of the government
if you allow this destruction
you’re allowing them to make changes at lightning speed
alarming people who are tasked with keeping sensitive information secure
it appears they’re working to do nothing but cut programs thus cutting cost 50 percent
the programs being cut will affect
your jobs
your healthcare
your medication coverage
your Medicare premium
and transportation
how low can we go
blind services
they’re lying to you
look at what’s happening
not the crap they’re promising you
see it very well
see it indeed
see it with great
with great liquid speed
otherwise, we parish
