What I love about Convention
hearing voices I’ve not heard in a while
learning new information I wouldn’t get anywhere else
hearing seminars on the Meta Glasses, NLS, Diabetes, and so, much more
a convention is how I learned of The American Council Of The Blind and I hope it lives on forever
are you sitting there reading
thinking
aww no way I could possibly belong
every time I join a group like that
things always fall flat
go splat
and I walk away feeling rejected
unaccepted
and
unwanted
I get it
believe me
I do
