  1. Thank you for sharing, Patty.

    1. Hi Robbie.

You’re welcome. I hope to read this book soon. It’s been on my TBR list for a bit.

      1. I hope you enjoy it when you get to it, Patty. My TBR is also huge and towering.

        1. Well, this very evening I’ve got to download a book to read for a book club and I also want to read a client’s book and of course there’s the book I’m currently reading.

And people wonder why I don’t own a TV. LOL. When would I watch it?

I much rather settle in with a good book after working all day.

TV is so very blah compared to a book.

Lots of people think the reason I don’t watch TV is because I cannot see. That’s not so. I used to watch TV all the time. Then one day I just got totally sick of it.

          A friend of mine says…

TV is bubble gum for the brain. Books are candy.

          1. I don’t watch any TV either, Patty. I also prefer to do other things, mainly reading or blogging which is also reading really. Nothing wrong with that, I say. Writers need to read, it is our homework [smile].

          2. I so very much agree.

I read not only for entertainment but to hone my craft. I’m always picking up phrases, great words, dialog tags, and also finding out ways of not doing things.

Writers who don’t read, well, dare I say it? They’re not really serious.

Also reading out of one’s comfort zone is another good idea. But, so many people tell me they just cannot do it.

You know what I think cannot translates to?

            Will not.

            JMO.

          3. I think you are right, Patty.
