Hello, everyone.

I hope you’re well.

Except for scheduled posts and checking for comments, Patty’s Worlds is off for the weekend.

I was supposed to have been off the entire week but I was only off Friday through Tuesday.

The remainder of the week was totally jam packed and I have some serious work to get done for committees I belong to and my writing work as well.

I’ll see you all back here on Monday.

Political machinations and personal conflict are activated when the Senate must decide whether to confirm the president’s nominee for secretary of state. Most are in favor of the nominee, but a senator from the South has reservations.

Who knows what I’ll begin reading once this is done.

I’m almost finished and looking for something really good to sink my teeth into for the weekend so any suggestions would be appreciated.
