I hope you’re well.
Blue and I are feeling accomplished today!
I don’t know how much snow we have but it’s quite a bit. Blue and I just went out into the snow and to his relief area via way of the steps and though they’re rather treacherous Blue did just what I asked of him. I trusted my dog, myself and The Seeing Eye® and their training.
We got to our relief area and Blue did all his business, we got it all cleaned up and back inside without an issue.
I was nervous but I didn’t let Blue know it.
I spoke in a calm upbeat voice and he was happy to obey.
He walked slowly, which is hard for him because he loves the snow.
When he’d done all his business even though by then my feet were soaking wet due to the type of shoes I’m wearing I let him have a sniff and a bite or two of snow.
He must love what he does for me so I gave him a brief moment of enjoyment.
We’re back inside safe dry and well and my shoes are drying.
We’re to get freezing rain later this evening which is concerning because there’s a good bit of snow out and freezing rain is going to make it slick as a greased pig. But if I am very careful and do just as I’m taught and make sure not to let Blue know I’m afraid we will be fine.
I trust my dog I trust my training and I trust the creator to take care of me.
Now, I’m going online to see if I can find anything for winter I can afford to put on my feet.
I’ve an extremely limited budget but again I’m in the palm of the creator and I already know I’ve everything I need.
