Updating an Ebook is Harder than I Thought

  1. Interesting. I wonder how it is different if you do publish, say a second edition. Is it then easier because you are declaring it a 2nd edition book? Does the ASIN number stay the same in that case.
I may need to research this sooner or later.
    Thanks for sharing.

    1. Hi Casey.

When I published Pathway to Freedom Broken and Healed: Book One How a Seeing Eye Dog Retrieved My Life Second Edition, which is a second edition of my first book, Campbell’s Rambles: How a Seeing Eye Dog Retrieved My Life it was all a brand new book.

When we updated Bubba Tails from the Puppy Nursery At The Seeing Eye we didn’t republish it as a second edition which was what I had originally meant to do but because we didn’t, the numbers all stayed the same. Does this make sense, or have I confused you further?

      LOL.

Thanks for reading and commenting. I’d just like to say that you read and comment on more of my posts having to do with writing, than any of my writer clients and I appreciate your taking the time to do so.
