Update! WGV Deadline Fast Approaching – the chief and me Etc #Author’sCorner #NewsNuggets #What’sUp

Good morning, I hope all are well.

Here, we’re doing fine as is possible. We’re fed, sheltered and warm as the rain pelts our building from all sides and the wind blows mournfully through the breezeway, bringing the needles of freezing liquid in from end to end.

This is weather fit for snuggling underneath a comforter with a good book, Laptop or some other device, a dog at your feet or by your side or some other beloved animal.

Soon, however, blue will be awake and freezing needles of rain or no, out in the weather we shall flow. For when Blue’s gotta go, Blue’s gotta go.

It matters whether or not if the wind doth blow.

Wet from nose to tail.

Blue’s pawprints on the kitchen floor tell the tale.

Shake, ring and sneeze.

Dry me with the towel by the door if you please?

Bending to my task,

I smile.

Roles have reversed.

I’m now the service human,

from my lungs,

laughter,

bursts.

No greater joy for me can there be, in the morning, with the chief and me.

Over the past week or so I’ve had some seriously bad out of control blood pressure.

In the process, my body dumped a huge dose of adrenaline out into my system, and this triggered an adrenaline dump reaction and yesterday, after finally flushing it out I crashed.

I slept for 10 hours, only waking once to walk Blue before bedtime and another couple times to relieve my own self.

Now, I’m awake early in the morning catching up on emails and enjoying a nice cup of coffee.

I am glad to be on the other side of that episode.

As some may remember, I suffer from adrenaline fatigue syndrome.

It can be rather nasty, and we now think it may be contributing to my other problems. This gives an entirely new angle to investigate but this will happen with a new doctor as I am dissatisfied with the current practice I’m attending.

More on that soon. For now, I feel somewhat better and am going to use this energy burst to clear out needed tasks Etc.

The Writer’s Grapevine Magazine deadline is Fast-Approaching.

02/15/2023 5 PM eastern no exceptions.

We’re still in need of what’s up columns, authors corner and reading with the author columns.

If by tomorrow I do not have more of these I’ll be reaching back out to my contributors who have offered more than one submission and see if they’d like to slip an extra something in here or there.

I’d also like to have you share it with your friends.

I’m still trying to gain subscribers, so please share the attached with all you know.

You can copy and paste the info directly into an email or FB post, blog, or anything else you can think of.

Thanks for helping to grow the magazine.

I’d also love to have members here.

So, invite them to join us.

Speaking of members, many of you are staying in the shadows and we’d like to encourage you to step forward, give us an intro or if you’ve done that before, then how about an update?

Think of the word group and all that entails and chime in.

OK, that’s all from us.

The coffee is hot, the weather is not and that’s the way we like it.

May harmony find You and blessid be.

Hi Patty, your escapades with Blue are most entertaining. I am sorry you’ve been ill again. I hope you stay well.

    1. Hi Robbie, someone asked me once what the best part of having one of these dogs is and I had a hard time answering. First, of course, I’m glad for the guiding. It really does make getting about easier.
However, the close second truthful answer is in fact, the escapades me and my guides have.
Bubba and I had aplenty and now Blue and I are having them as well.
It makes being blind a whole lot more fun.
      LOL.
