UNITE TO HEAL NOT ONLY OUR BROKEN NATION BUT THE ENTIRE WORLD

Today, after reading an article from The Washington Post, I began to think seriously about the word Spirit had given to me just before the beginning of 2021. Shortly before the new year, I’d begun to seek a word of focus for the year to come. I wanted to have a specific focus goal for the entire year which would not only help me make everlasting changes in my personal life but for the entire world. The word Spirit gave to me was, “Unite”.
I suppose you’re asking, “Do you seriously think you could do anything which would make a difference for the entire world? Really? Do you think you’re that significant?”
Well, truly, all of us are that significant. For we’re but stones being tossed into a pond, which in this case, represents the world. Think about what happens when you toss a stone into a pond. Ripples happen, right? If we’re stones being tossed into a pond and each stone causes a ripple then it stands to reason that we’re all making changes each time we act in any way, small or large.
Now that we understand we’re all significant. How does this relate to the article I read today? The article I read was, Biden tells the world "America is back." The world isn’t so sure … …
If the world’s governments are concerned that we could swing back into the horror that was in four more years, then we need to alleviate those fears by putting someone into the republican party who represents our country in a better way than the man they currently support.
Now, you’re asking, “But, I thought you voted the democratic ticket?”
No, actually, I vote according to who I believe will best represent me as an American and the country as a whole. I have in the past voted for republicans. And in fact, during this election, I voted for a republican running as representative for my state.
I believe in a bipartisan government. This means that all sides must have a place and must be heard. But only if those sides do not promote violence, chaos and destruction of the very fabric of society.
I once read a statement from prophetess E G White, “Vote the issue. Not the man”. Those words changed my political thinking in a huge way and after that I never voted quite the same way.
I’m a registered democrat but nothing stops me from voting as I see fit at the poles.
I say to you, we must all find common ground on which to stand. We must work together to not only heal a broken nation but the entire world.
