Today is Tuesday. It is the day of courage. A day ruled by Mars. Mars is of the Male persuasion, and is a symbol of strength, and communication. Mars is one that also affects communications, and is currently retrograde. It is no wonder that communications are so very confused between everyone at the moment.
This morning, I am going to be talking about my plans for the future, but first I want to talk about communications, and what Mars being retrograde means to me. There are many who believe that Mars being retrograde means that things will indeed slip backward, and while that may be true for some things, I feel it is more of a slowing. A slowing means that things can progress, but on a very slow track, and with many obstacles along the way. Why is it important to know how things affect me? Because communication is one of the ways in which I make a living. If people read my blog, they might like what they read enough to go and get a copy of my book. If they like that book well enough, they might recommend it to their family and friends, and this can bring about more sales, thus making me more money.
Now, what are my plans for the future? I plan to make my online magazine the biggest and best it ever was, and one day I hope that I can sell it as a printed magazine as well.
I also wish to pay off the editor of my first book, so I can publish the second.
In the first book,’ Campbell’s Rambles: How a Seeing Eye Dog Retrieved My Life,’ I begin the story of how going to The Seeing Eye in Morristown, New Jersey changed, or as the title says, ‘Retrieved My Life.‘ I talk of my time at the school, the special relationship I had with my trainer, and the lasting friendships I made. Mostly though I talk about training itself and the impact it had on my life, as well as the love that Campbell gave to me and how all this together, along with how people viewed me, began to make me take a look at myself and about how I wanted more for myself than what I currently had.
Then I talk of how I came home, and tried, unsuccessfully to merge what I’d learned about myself back into a life I knew simply wasn’t right.
It of course did not work, and the remainder of the book is spent telling of how wrong things went.
It only touched the surface though, and in my second book, ‘The Raw Truth: Campbell’s Rambles Book Two,’ I will continue the tale. I will talk in more detail of the abuse I suffered, and of the affect it had on me and my life. I will speak of how it affected my behavior and of how for a time, I was terribly ill, and about the things it caused me to do.
I will speak of the disastrous result of that behavior and what has transpired since those long ago days.
I will speak of a new love in my life. A man who is a dear friend and companion to me, and of how, though we aren’t yet ready to be more than ‘special friends,’ he is forever changing my life in a wonderful way, by teaching me that love from a man doesn’t have to include violent behavior, and that someone can love me simply because I am.
I leave you now, with these quotes, and affirmations for the day.
“I know that I am alive, because I can look behind me and see the wreckage of my life”
“If you don’t want people to know how you are, don’t be that way”
“The world is not perfect, so I need not be perfect”
The four agreements
“Be impeccable with your word”
“Don’t assume anything”
“Don’t take anything personal”
“Always do your best”
Until next time, this is Patty, Campbell and Bobcat too saying, “May harmony find you and Blessid Be”
