Thanks for sharing, dear Patty…I just love this and other posts here, so will be sharing her often! Blessings and Love to you *willows in mist**pawprints in sand*
I know all about trees and their upset when being trimmed. I once had to have a tree doctored. The property owners where I lived at the time wanted to simply cut it down but the man who had come to give the estimate had told me that wasn’t necessary, he suggested rather than cutting the tree down we should only remove the sick portions. I had to beg plead and practically get in the way of the job on the day they were sent back to cut it down. The tree had told me her name. her name was Grandmother Tree and she and I had lovely visits. Finally, I won out, and even though I’ve moved, that tree stands yet today.
The horror of that day was hearing her screaming in pain. They did the cutting while she was fully awake and it was horrible. I stood on my porch and thought loving thoughts to her but still she screamed. But when it was all over, after only a few weeks, new growth began and it was wonderful.

February 21, 2021Trees are wonderful and I’ve often wondered what on earth I was thinking renting a house which had no tree in its yard.
