My cough is back with a vengeance. I’m having a glass of wine and thinking about things.
Here’s what I have decided.
Things I won’t do in 2026.
1. I will not lie or keep silent for the sake of hurting someone’s feelings. In the end truth always comes out and it is more hurtful when it is learned one has been lied to all along.
two. I will no longer allow people to take advantage of me. If they tell me they’re going to do something, and they do not follow through I do not have to allow that behavior in my life and certainly not in my business.
three. I will no longer put my writing needs last.
4. I will not except disrespectful people in my life. Being disrespectful of me and my rules concerning Blue will no longer be tolerated.
5. I will not ask of anyone things I won’t do myself. So, Safe, Respectful, and welcoming applies to me as well.
Let’s all try for a kinder tomorrow.
