Rewritten Freya’s Day January 16, 2026.
Overwhelmed and overcome by emotion in early morning. A crying jag lasted for 15 minutes. Pressure valve released. Relief Felt better. Changed into a pretty outfit, jeans, turtleneck sweater, and a community FRAMILY shirt over top. A charcoal sweater with a purple shirt looked really nice. Someone told me. Made me feel a little better. I took my laundry and dumped it into the washing machines. And as I did, I said this is all my trouble. washing it away. The clothes began to wash and women friends of mine began to come in and out. A few guys popped in and out with their laundry too, but they just said quick hellos dumped their things in and went away. Soon, people began to arrive across the hall for bingo. My clothes were in a state of some done and folded some still in the dryer and I left them there, set a timer and went to play. Some goofballs put away All our bingo stuff with the Christmas decorations, and the maintenance person had to be summoned to undo their doings. Finally, some cards were found. My braille cards are still amongst those things which could not yet be found, but we gathered together and someone played my card and I won a nice bottle of shampoo. And that suits me fine because I love shower, gels shampoo, conditioners, hand, creams face creams, body creams, and any kind of cream. Lol. Chocolate and raspberry whatever. Needless to say, it’s been the first day out. I’ve had that I felt really good. I still have some congestion, but it is not too bad. I am finally starting to be well. I have poured myself a glass of wine, and I have a garlic, cheesy chicken Birdseye voilmeal on the stove. Blue has just had a peppermint, twisty, and his supper. Not in that order. Supper then the twisty. He is happily lying in the floor getting ready to gnaw a bone. We hope you all have had a good day. My work was done so early efficiently because everyone sends me their things ready to go now, that I have no problem getting everything done. I have a lot of email, but they will be there. I’m not messing up my day right just yet. Lol. The work can wait a little while. AnyWho, y’all have a super great evening and I’m certainly gonna.
Backstory
Over the last few months, I worked diligently to teach those who sponsor me how to correctly market themselves.
A few went their own way before I got my feet under me. Others remained.
As we went forward together, those who stayed learned well. As it turned out, so did I.
Now, they’re branching out. Though I still have work to do for and with them the ways in which we work have changed.
At first, I felt lost and a little left out. I never expected that.
But I did not allow it to last long. Common sense reasserted itself and I decided okay, fine, I’m going out!
I’d been sick since the 20th of Dec and only tended to do what must be done. There was a mountain of laundry as big as me forming in the bathroom and the rest of the apartment kind of looked like a tornado had been through.
I straightened up the apartment, gathered a hamper of laundry, packed up my purse and dog, and headed out.
The above poem/story tells the tale.
I feel balanced again.
Here’s the weird thing though. While this was going on, my Friend and Sponsor Coach Kaila Allen of Creative Guidance LLC was putting together and teaching a creative Journey class which is dealing with this.
You cannot make this stuff up!
She did not know I was feeling these feelings of guilt for not doing more in my work. I did not share this with anyone. I felt ashamed.
Then, oddly enough, in the course of the work I was doing for her I began to read about this very thing.
You cannot imagine how grateful I was.
Check this out.
I don’t believe in coincidence.
