A sad thing this. It might have been prevented, if we had better mental health care and gun control in this country.
I’m not saying take away all guns. I’m only saying we must be more aware and alert to those who have mental illness.
I’ll use myself as an example, I’ve Bipolar Disorder and when it’s out of control I’ve no business owning a gun.
Since I don’t always get a great warning before an episode in my opinion, someone such as me, or someone with other mental disorders should not have access to a gun.
Yes, anything can become a weapon, but a gun is an immediate thing and someone with mental illness has poor impulse control and this man had such problems and that along with his military background made him one dangerous person.
My heart goes out to the families. All the families, including the shooter. He was someone’s son.
Mother Father God have mercy on the souls of the dead. and show the law makers of this land the correct direction in which to go.
