Oh! This is one of my most favorite poems! Thank you for posting it.

    1. You’re welcome. I’m glad I’m not the only one with this poem as a favorite.

      1. Hi Abby. You have taught me so much about poetry. You and Joan have inspired me so much. I know next to nothing about poetry. But I like what I read here.

        1. You’re welcome. I’m glad I could inspire you.

      2. Hi Abbie.

I love your passion for poetry.

I wonder, might you be persuaded to write a piece on what poetry means to you, how it relates to you as a writer, and why you use it in your books to tell your story?

I’ll be taking submissions soon, and I think that would be a wonderful piece of content writing for me to put into the Author’s Corner as a full post from you, which would of course include your book and blog info.

Something for you to consider as I ready us all for the sizzling summer season ahead.

    2. Hi Meredith. So glad to hear from you. Glad you enjoyed this.

      1. This is a possibility. Will give it some thought. Thank you for the suggestion.

        1. Sure thing.

I hope you come up with something. It would be great to read.

    3. Hi again Meredith.

      Do you write any poetry?

If so, when I start taking submissions again, by all means send.

      Thanks.

      1. I did come up with something, but I’m not sure where I’m going with it yet. Hopefully, I’ll figure it out and get it to you next week.

        1. I’ve not looked at what you’ve sent yet, but I’m betting it’ll be awesome.

I must say, so far of all those I’ve asked, you’re the only one to even respond back, let alone send something.

Thanks so much for working with me to help promote you.

I really can’t do it without the client’s participation.

  3. Well, I finished it yesterday. I sent it to a couple of writing groups, and so far, it has received favorable comments. I was waiting until you were ready to receive submissions. If you are, I’ll send it.

    1. Sure go ahead and send.

I got what you sent from Alice and shared.

I’ll be back to full time work on Monday.
