Good morning, Faithful Followers and Friends.

As I’ve been recovering from surgery, I learned something rather important and obvious.

Take Time for You and Prioritize What You’ve to Do #TipOfTheDay

When I began to come back online where my health, and daily activities were concerned, I quickly learned that if I did not prioritize what I needed to get done and then take the rest as it came, I’d never get and remain well.

First, I prioritized every-day living. That it seemed to me was the most important. If the house is a total wreck, the chaos that will cause when trying to do anything at all, even to try to get a cup of coffee would be a hassle, I worked on getting things in my living spaces back online.

Days passed, and I concentrated on nothing but self-care, self-imposed workouts, walking and clearing up after myself each day.

When I got so I could manage all that without feeling totally whipped, I began to add in more things.

I began with taking laundry downstairs to wash along with everything else and let me admit the first time I did it I thought I’d vomit before I got back home.

Over time these things settled to normal routine, and I found myself going to a Mardi gras celebration and soon after I was joining in on the afternoon chat room sessions in the lobby by the doors and then, I realized it was time to go back to work.

I thought about it all that weekend and finally, made an announcement that Patty’s Worlds would be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays with part time hours of 11 AM to 2 PM eastern.

Now I know some are truly suffering from the time change, and so I’m willing to cut sponsoring members slack and say, if you’re a sponsoring member, you’re listed in my favorites over in the trusty iPhone contacts, so text or phone if you need something. If I cannot take your call it will go to voicemail and we’ll talk ASAP.

When I implemented this plan, I soon discovered I would need to decide what was important and what was not. By this time, I was also writing at my normal pace again, and so that had to be considered.

Soon I had a plan, and things began to fall into place.

Someone asked if I were going to change my hours again, and the current answer is no.

Blue will return soon and I’m going to need time for him.

So, for now, things remain as they are and I am relaxing into a new life.

Two jobs, getting done, and minimal stress.

I just learned to “Eat the elephant one bite at a time.”

{ Yesterday, when I did laundry, I also threw in a few rounds of bingo while they washed and dried.

That’s another small success.
