Good morning to you all.
How is everyone this fine spring day?
Surprise! We’ve rain yet again. I tell you, we’ve had so much rain of late I’m ready to bring out my bible and look up the instructions for building an arc.
Speaking of surprises, yesterday I got a lovely surprise from one of my friends/clients.
The other day, I did an interview with Heidi McClure owner of Sassafras Hill Studio. Well, yesterday I got a box filled with goodies from her shop.
There were; heavenly scented candles big and small, bars of creamy scented soap, and there was even a lovely necklace.
She calls this box “a surprise box.” In fact she spoke of being able to order such a box in her interview. She says “If you order a surprise box you’re going to get a whole lot of stuff.” Paraphrasing there, but she’s right to be sure.
I tell you that box of goodies came at just the right time for me too. I had a very rough day yesterday and was just about ready to throw in the towel, go back to bed, and give up on the entire day when my mail lady knocked on the door to let me know I had a package.
If you’d like to see her shop and all she’s got to offer, here’s the link where you can do so. If you have a friend or relative needing cheering up this is the way to get it done.
In her interview, Heidi talks about how you can order and get things shipped directly to your friend or family’s home. In this time of “Social Distancing” being able to shop online, and have things delivered straight to a person’s home is a wonderful thing.
You can also interact directly with Heidi. So check her out at: http://www.Facebook.com/sassafrashillstudioYou’ll be glad you did.
In the meantime, I’m enjoying the beautiful scents flowing throughout my home. The candles are so nice that although I’ve not lit one yet, I can smell them. I sat them onto my book shelf in front of the windows and yesterday when I had the windows open, every time a breeze blew through the scent went wafting everywhere!
She also has wax melts for those who don’t like to light candles.
I didn’t mean to turn this into an advertisement, but the package was so lovely I just wanted to share.
If you’d like to hear the interview, email me at: patty.volunteer1@gmail.com and I’ll send you the MP3.
I’ve not gotten it turned into a link yet.
