Springtime
An Acrostic Poem
By Trish Hubschman
Sunshine streaming down from Heaven.
Pretty flowers all around us.
Rabbits, squirrels, Deer come out to play.
I can see, feel, hear and smell it.
Nature has such a beautiful way.
Green grass, lush and fresh.
Tweeting birds up in the trees.
I love to set there and listen
Memories of winter are put behind us.
Even the days are longer and brighter.
This poem appeared in the March 20, 2022 online issue of the weekly avocet.
