Reading the weather, in my email today, made my throat close up eyes sting, tears falling like rain.
Rain would be welcome. That would be warm. This stupid snow is cold, unforgiving, and hard.
Hard to stand up in. Hard to orient oneself. This is the hardest part,.
So, don’t work a guide dog. Stay in when it’s cold.
Nope, even with this slick stuff, having a Seeing Eye Guide Dog is gold.
I’ll slip and slide. I’ll curse and fuss. But I will never stop working Seeing Eye Guide Dogs. Not till they nail my coffin shut.
While I was writing, this poem off the cuff, I let my tears fall. Dry on my cheeks. Then, I see the value of what I’m doing, and state, ‘okay girl that is enough!

Go order the recommended footwear. Stop your whining about.
You live where it’s winter, get over it. Stop moping about.
