Smorgasbord Blog Magazine – Thanksgiving Special – #WritingCommunity #2022 #Gratitude by Sally Cronin

Good morning, I hope this posting finds you well.

Here in Kingsport Tennessee USA nestled in the beautiful Northeast Tennessee mountains I’m indeed celebrating Thanksgiving.

One of the blessings I am giving thanks for this day is Friend and fellow blogger Sally Cronin who happens to have some amazing thoughts on this day and what it means for her.

Before I share what Sally’s to say I’d like to add, if you’re not currently following and participating in Sally’s blog, you’re doing yourselves a grand disservice.

And now, without further fiddle de do here’s Sally with a Magnificent message for You!

I appreciate that officially we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving on this side of the Atlantic, but we are, within the blogging community, a global family who ignore lines drawn on a map that determine nationality. I thought this offered me the opportunity to thank special people who have made a difference to both my blog and me personally not just on one day a year, but every day.

  1. Thanks for sharing Patty…Happy Thanksgiving..hugs

  2. I hope you are well enough to enjoy thanksgiving, Patty.

    1. Hi Robbie, yes, today’s been a great day for which I’m truly grateful.
I baked a nice spiral sliced ham, made a lovely stir-fry casserole, and a delightful pot of macaroni salad.
Earlier today, before it got cloudy and cool, Blue and I took a wonderful walk throughout our community in the sun stopping to chat with neighbors along our way.
Later, after supper was done we took another walk but it had turned cloudy and a bit blustery yet there were others out enjoying the fresh air before the rains came walking off their dinners too.
Now, it’s raining and I’m readying to go to a Zoom event and then I believe it’ll be an early bedtime.
I ate sparingly so as not to overfill my stomach and I’m hopeful for no issues overnight.
      Thanks so much for asking.
As Sally says, I’m truly grateful for all my blogger friends.
