I’ve had many signs from loved ones and friends over the years. Head over to Sally’s Smorgasbord Café to learn what it is I’m babbling about. Trust me, it’s great.
Happy to do it. I had meant to do it when it came out and slapped it into a folder so I could clear out mail and then forgot. I’ve had some lovely and not so lovely encounters with spiritual signs. But the best one so far was when my Bubba was passing. It was my mother’s birthday. Mom died in 2001. Just as I was spending my last time with Bubba at home we were curled up in his favorite spot and suddenly I smelled my mother’s cologne. No windows were open. No belonging of hers around. And just like that the thought went into my head that I was giving my mother a dog for her birthday. Even though the experience nearly ripped out my heart, knowing my mother would look after my Bubba in the next world made me feel great. Mom always wanted me to have a guide dog. She just didn’t know how we could manage with her health and my daughter being so young. She’d have loved Bubba and now she has him along with all the cats. LOL.
