AUTHOR’S CORNER – WHAT’S UP: On the Homefront
Have you ever been saying or doing something when suddenly you got a funny fluttery feeling in the pit of your stomach?
That’s being aware of your body.
Today, when I sat down at the computer to check email and get the digital portion of my life booted up, I saw a comment on a blog I am following. I read the comment and at first, I thought I had something to contribute to the conversation. However, as I wrote my stomach began to flutter and I read wat I’d written and realized it really didn’t need to be said.
I’m working on not speaking or responding with a kneejerk reaction/action.
I deleted it and went on my way to something more pleasant which was mine to do and the bats flying about in my stomach flew away.
My body relaxed, my mind cleared, and I began perusing the internet for local eateries to try.
My Friend Christy is coming up today and we’re going to breakfast. Christy and I set a date once each month and do something together.
This month since I’ve a busy schedule in the afternoon on the day Christy’s schedule was clear, we opted to eat breakfast and catch up together in the early morning.
I found a place close by I want to try, and I texted her with, “Hey, are you up for trying a new place? I found a place close by called Eggs Up Grill. Looks really great. Like they have anything you can eat.”
I’m not copying exactly, but that’s the drift.
She wrote back with, “Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. I was actually looking at that too. So, I guess that’s our place.”
When that happened, rather than an anxious flutter of batwings, I had a nice happy lifting of my consciousness into a lovely feeling of bliss.
Making that connection is undoubtably leading to something lovely. I cannot wait to experience it.

AT Web Friendly Help, audio editing involves modifying and removing the pieces of the audio recording that you don’t want or need.
