Shopping… Shopping… Shopping… Purchased

Good afternoon.

As you all know, on Friday of last week, my computer died.

As you also know, a friend and client Start at a fundraiser on my behalf.

Yesterday I posted that I had received $344.

I also posted that I was researching computers.

Just a while ago, I ordered a computer.

I am grateful to everyone who has assisted me with this.

I will keep you updated.

Have a fantastic rest of your day.

  1. That’s great news, Patty. I hope the computer you ordered this time will work better and last longer.

    1. Hi Abbie. I think God was really smiling on me. I did a lot of looking at computers this morning. After a little while, I found one I really liked. When I clicked on it, to purchase, it wasn’t available. I nearly threw my telephone right out the window right then and there. But… It had other options so I clicked them. I found one better than the one I had been looking at, and it was on sale. Brand new. So, I clicked more details, and read, and then compare, and read, compared just a little more, and finally decided. I bought a Dell Latitude laptop and it was well within the specs I needed. In fact it had a couple things on it that I didn’t expect. Very pleased. It was within the budget that I had in my PayPal after receiving all the donations, and so I cross my fingers and click order. I have just received all of my receipts. Should be here sometime next week. Maybe sooner if I’m lucky.

      2. Wow somehow I missed the fundraiser page. So glad you’re getting a computer soon! I know that is a great relief!

        1. Hey Casey. Here’s the deal. Basically, Abbie simply re-blogged something I wrote when I wrote a cancellation notice and things are on hold for my business on my blog. When she did so, she made an appeal for people to assist if they could. She told him about my computer being dead etc. next thing I knew, we had raised almost $400. This morning, using the resource links you sent me, I sat down and did my homework. I found one I really liked, and then when I clicked on it it wasn’t available. And after squashing the urge to throw my phone out the window, I looked at what they had in stock compared to that one. After A little comparison shopping, I found one for just under $300, and it had free shipping available so I purchased it. It had everything on it I needed and I am excited. Now, when I get it, I’ll probably holler at you to help me set it up right LOL.

    1. Hi my friend Jo! You’re absolutely correct. And when I get my computer and get it set up, I will be back in business, and better than before.
