Book One – Sides of the Order

This series is amazing so far—a true page-turner! I’ve had a really hard time putting these books down. If you’re looking for a new series that has a little bit of everything, you need to pick up the Blended Lives Chronicles.
The story contains a compelling mix of magik, mystery, conspiracy, and romance. It keeps you guessing, especially with the central theme that “people are not as they seem.” Author Patty L. Fletcher has created a fascinating world in the first two books, centered around the mission to unite beings of all kinds. The interplanetary setting and the politics of the Blended Lives Federation provide a unique, exciting backdrop The character development is incredibly good and relatable. Following High Priestess Laya MoonWalker and Derrick Gibbous as they navigate their growing love and the dangerous battles around them makes for a deeply engaging read. You truly root for them to succeed. It’s a fun and exciting fantasy that also gives you something deeper to think about.

I highly recommend picking up both The Blended Lives Chronicles: Sides of the Order and the second book, The Blended Lives Chronicles: A Battle of Choices. If you enjoy fantasy with a strong sense of purpose, relatable heroes, and unexpected twists, you will not be disappointed. I can’t wait for the next book in the series to be released!
