Hello everyone, I began this book, on October 1ST, and have since, read the one following, which I will review shortly after this, as I’ve just finished it today!
I mention the speed with which I’ve read this, and it’s next in line because it speaks to how very excellent this series of wonderful books are.
This, A Stain of White Radiance is a book which will keep you on the edge of your seat.
From the care-free out on a limb attitude Dave has, to the caring way family life and love is woven in throughout.
The mystery and suspense will keep you coming back for more. The detail to crime description is amazing. Speaking of that, this book is not for the faint of heart. They mean it when they say, “Some violence. They mean it when they say descriptions of sex. While the scenes of violent behavior are described, and at times are graphic, the sex scenes while described, while there, and vividly drawn, they’re not grotesquely done.
I recommend these books mightily.
We will begin to learn about yet another fascinatingly rich part of the country as Louisiana and New Erline’s are displayed. You’ll feel the bond of loyalty, just by reading the words of it on the page. You’ll know the pain and fear of carrying one too many secrets, and gain a better understanding of the lengths some will go to protect those they love.
This book is gritty, grewling, gruff, and at times hard to read.

Mystery and Detective Stories
Dave Robicheaux has known the Sonnier family all his life. He even dated the youngest daughter. But one doesn’t want to be close to them, for they seem to hide dark secrets, like child abuse. The murder of a local cop will pull Robicheaux back to the Sonniers, who now include an oil baron and a TV evangelist, and force him to face a past he would rather forget. Violence, some strong language, and some descriptions of sex. Bestseller.
