We’ve come to the end of another Wonderful #WordPressWednesday
Before we go, I’ve got one more post to share.
In fact, to my mind this is probably the most important message of the day.
Here’s author Phyllis Staton Campbell to tell you more…
Responsibilities. We all have them, everything from putting out the trash to those lofty ones which could change our lives. Do we realize, however, what a difference we, ourselves, can make to others, and what a responsibility this is.
I have been shocked and humbled at how my music students sometimes pick up some of my traits when playing. We all strive toward our favorite writers, sometimes picking up some of their habits, but do we realize that often people look at us, and our lives, perhaps patterning their lives after ours? This is especially true of people in the public eye.
It is important to remember that nobody is perfect. Just because that person holds a high office, he/she is human, and make mistakes the same as we lowly citizens. It is especially important to remember this during this time when we are being bombarded with all kinds of "do this" "do that". Go to the experts, in this case health professionals, not to politicians, who may or may not have a personal stake in the advice they give. God gave us a mind of our own. Let’s use it, be informed, and act on the information. Remember that person who might be watching you, act responsibly.
Okay, I’m taking the next ship to Mars. Wana come? No? Gee thought I was more important than I am. Good! You didn’t believe me.
