There was some confusion when we began because we had to change the name of the podcast on the fly, so the first episodes had spots in it with Patty’s Worlds podcast spots in it rather than with the new name and wow did I get some email.

Next, I know many have wondered why I have been AWOL. Well, it’s because I’ve been involved in The American Council Of The Blind 65TH National Conference and Convention.
It has been an amazing time of both virtual and hybrid events and though it’s a little later in the year than normal, and we have had to have a break in between the two so people could travel, but even though it’s been a little long, I’ve enjoyed it so far.
My favorite two seminars thus far have been the how do you do it with low vision, which was about hobbies and crafts, even including blind hockey. I am hoping to maybe start up a bowling team of blind people when I get back from Richmond if my Visually Impaired Support Group is game. I used to bowl and though I am no good at it it’s fun and I think something we could enjoy.
I also enjoyed the Guide Dog Users Incorporated Best of Breed seminar. I enjoyed hearing about all the breeds and their differences as guides.

This book taught me much and warded me off some things I should not be doing. I also am happy that there are so many informational things in the appendices. The corespondances tables and other information given are top-notch and I have put bookmarks throughout the book for things I want to write down.

You can have your files, folders, even email messages shown in different patterns for viewing on your computer or other device screen.
Grid view arranges items in a column and row format with a small thumbnail image and text centered below it. The columns go down and the rows go across all aligned perfectly like garden plantings.
List view puts the tiny icon image with the text to the right of it going down in a column.
I like list view because I find it easiest.
Life isn’t always so neat and organized.
