  1. Thank you, Patty, for sharing this. Thank you all for reading.

    1. Hi, Abbie. You’re welcome.
I wanted to tell you about this. Here’s a great place to do it.
The other day, I got an email through the email Patty section here.
That’s awesome and I wish more would use that to send feedback. You know? Getting feedback is like pulling teeth.
But here’s some feedback from someone who did not share their name. And of course, it’s negative.
They wrote, “When your guests comment on what you’ve reblogged, your conversation is boring. Why can’t you be like other bloggers that chat with each other?”
Well, I have seen those chatty blogs where they get off topic and those who know one another start talking about things which have nothing to do with the post. Then, those who are out of that loop are left with a bunch of replies going into their inboxes they don’t know anything about and don’t have any interest in.
That’s fine if they want to do it, but I cannot unsub because that’s also places where my sponsors post.
So, I wrote all that back but I wanted to share.
So, thanks reader. We love that you’re reading our work, but we don’t really have time to chat all day if we’re going to keep putting out the work you come here to see.
We do want to hear from you about that so please drop a line any time.
      Have a Sublime Sunday.
      Hope that’s ok Abbie.

      1. Patty, you make a good point about replying to comments. On my own blog, I struggle to find ways to respond to comments without being too chatty or boring. Thank you for sharing your insightful response to that reader’s comment.

  2. Oh, I don’t know, your people will make it pretty easy because the comments they make they make comments about what they’re reading. And you can answer them in kind there you know they are conversational. But I don’t get that on my blog. This conversation between you and me and a few things that Robbie and I speak about are the only ones. I get some email privately because that’s how people prefer to do, and that’s all right. So I’m not complaining, but yeah, sometimes it’s difficult. Sally’s blog is a lot like yours, her guests, and the people who read, our conversational, but it stays on the topic K booth and Robbie Cheetle have similar things. But I go to some of these other bloggers and they’re just talking about everything and none of it has anything to do with what’s on the post. So I don’t like those. I try to stay off as many of those as I can. Anyway, it’s a good topic. I wish other readers would join in.
