Hello, everyone.
I hope you’re all doing well.
Here, I am starting to feel just a bit overwhelmed.
It always happens when you come down to the wire for a book release, but in this case, I’ve got double duty.
Not only am I releasing a book in October, but I’m also collaborating with a group of authors on an anthology, also due to release in October.
Normally, this wouldn’t be such a big deal except, the two releases are related to one another. My full-length book, ‘The Blended Lives Chronicles: Book One Sides of the Order is relative to the story, ‘Casualties of War’ which was accepted into the Midnight Roost anthology.
My hope is to have them release back-to-back. This hope has resulted into a lot of work.
Not only am I still working hand and glove with my editor and illustrator but I’m also working with the group of authors. We’re to do a blog tour for the release of Midnight Roost and this is no easy task. It requires a lot of coordination on all our parts. We must have our content for the posts we’re to host on our blogs, the dates must all line up and we’re also working on other promotions as well.
If this weren’t enough to curl your hair, last night, after nearly 12 chapters of arduous work, it came to my dismayed attention, I was working on the wrong draft. Thankfully, I have been taking copious notes on everything throughout the process, but this was a rather large setback I must now fix.
Then, because the Universe is a sick so and so, this morning, just when I was almost finished with a recording, I must do for the anthology promotion someone decided to start a very loud lawnmower right outside the window in front of my desk.
To say I was annoyed would be a great understatement.
I fear, with all that has been going on of late, along with the fact that I’ve still got several days of restricted Facebook going on, I’ve been a bit lacking in my work for all my clients.
Honestly, I wish I could hide from the computer, phone and any other possible electronic device for a week, and I may when this is all over do just that.
I have hosted quite a few Writer’s Grapevine contributors on the blog and there are more scheduled throughout the end of the month.
I have however, decided I’m unable to take on any other projects at the present time.
I have two featured author of the week interviews to put up soon, but they too may be a bit delayed. They will get put up during the first and second weeks of October, so if you’re one of those two authors please stand by.
Those used to working with me know, I’m normally right on top of things, but with success comes a lot of work.
Those who are new to working with me, please know, your work is in good hands and as soon as I am over the hump which should come by the end of this week, TTW Marketing will return to some sort of normalcy.
In the meantime, be patient, and I promise good promotional opportunities will come your way.
While you’re waiting for me to get my head together again, here’s a great free promotional opportunity.
If you’ve never gone to the trouble of working with this blogger, I highly recommend you get at it right away. Sally G. Cronin has all social media and blog followers combined, over 40,000 followers. That’s a whole lot of people reading.
So, check it out with no delay.
It really is the best referral of all I offer.
Thanks for your kind patient understanding.
May harmony find us all.
Blessid Be.
