February 27, 2025Thank you, Patty, for sharing this. My mother wasn’t all bad. I was reminded of that earlier during the ACB Community Daily Schedule call when we were talking about fairy tales, and I recalled how she transcribed Hansel and Gretel, one of my favorite stories, into Braille, so I could read it whenever I wanted. Mother, I forgive you and thank you for everything you did for me. Rest in peace. And, of course, I thank you all for reading.
