People! Amazing! And they say I am disabled

Got out and about early this beautiful pre fall Monday morning. First, muffin and coffee. Simple right? Wrong! I had just told the bus driver before going into the store, that I always find a blog post while I am out. As usual, I was not disappointed.
Getting there was not a problem. Getting help was not a problem. The help???? That was where the trouble began. First let me say, I understand mentally challenged. I think it is awesome that Food City employs disabled persons. However, I expect them to be able to do the job they are asked. Let me also say, I understand when someone is having a bad day. Today, however, was a moment when someone either was not willing or able (not sure which) I decided that if they were gonna say by being there, that they were capable, I’d make them follow through rather than allowing them to get someone else, when they started having trouble. The first problem was getting my muffin and coffee. When I’d repeated three times what I needed, between myself, the help?? And the deli staff I t was finally done. We got to the elevator and inside without trouble, but once the door closed nothing happened. When the elevator did not move, even Campbell became impatient. Sneezing quite wildly, expressing his t is his frustration. Mind you, this was after my coffee was dropped, and spilled and left for someone to slip in. Finally I asked, did you press the button? Of course the answer was no. When the door open on the second floor, Campbell was over it! When I said forward, he left the elevator car, and brought me straight to the booth I sit in.

Moral of the story? Anytime I feel like I am lacking I just need to look around me.
