A rainbow over a body of water Description automatically generated

Description:

A vibrant rainbow arcs across the sky, stretching from the left side of the image to the right. Below the rainbow, there is a body of water with a rocky shoreline. On the right side, a white building with a stone foundation is partially visible, surrounded by greenery and palm trees. The sky is a mix of cloudy and clear areas, with the rainbow appearing prominently against the clouds. In the distance, there is a small peninsula with more vegetation.

walking down a walkway

bushes grown riotous and wild

I brush past

steep decline threatens on the other side

I try to keep my arms free

as Blue and I slide by

OW! OW!

I cry in dismay

then behind me I hear a voice say

what’s the matter with you those are just bushes you’re passing by

they stuck me darn it

I toss back over my shoulder as the bushes appear to come alive

they’re not pokey

he says as my opinion he tries to deny

he reaches back as I walk forward

then with an evil imp in my heart I hear him cry

they are pokey

my laugh rings loud and true

as I toss back over my shoulder

I freaking told you

then I stick out my tongue

and poke a finger at you

😜😜

But… Oh! Well, 🌈🌟🤷‍♀️😜
Life is too short to do anything but laugh and have fun, and if I gotta go I’d rather go laughing than crying but…

distances are great
miles are many and long
I reckon I’m good long as that’s the song
