It was in July 2017 that my two-legses committed the unthinkable sin of losing The Ball. Not just any ball… I have many in my toy box… but The Ball. The One. The Special Ball. I’d had that ball a long time and knew its every scent, curve and puncture. Granted, they searched for it…

November 16, 2020You’re quite welcome.
That story warmed my heart. Campbell had a favorite ball and when it went away he never really played ball again.

Food For Thought
We all are the Light, automatically. So we really don’t have to go too much further than that. We all have a Light within us – it is the Soul; it is that spark of God, of the Divine, that activates our consciousness.

November 16, 2020Campbell also had a squeaky duck which he held a great affection for. Someone accidentally threw it away wrapped up in a sheet. I was having cleaning and decluttering done and thatâs the only explanation I could ever come up with for itâs disappearance. Let me tell you, bedtime was a royal mess until I ordered another. When it came I stood outside with it wrapped in one of his blankets and held it until Iâd gotten our scents all over it. For Campbell it may as well have been Christmas all over again. He danced, wagged and barked. Campbell hardly ever said a word but that day he barked with happiness. He squeaked that thing all day that day. We never let duck get away again.
I sleep with all his stuffies now. Someday I shall give some of them to my new dog when I am privileged enough to get to go and get one.
For now, Iâve a sheep, duck, 3 alligators, a raccoon, a Kong Monster, a bear, and hedgehog as well as something that is so chewed up it is hardly recognizable called Monkey Man which was really a gingerbread man in bed every night.

November 16, 2020I’m glad you were able to replace his facourite with something that made him so happy, Patty.
I can quite understand you sleeping with his special friends too.

November 16, 2020Well, Iâve finally stopped crying all over them at night.
I am still sending white light and positive energies your way.
I belong to a group on FB called Blind witches and share many of yours and the Silent Eyeâs posts with them.
They too are sending energies your way.
