The sun is shining. The birds they do sing.

I woke up this morning with a little bit of a thing.

At first there was confusion.

My head did roar.

I stayed up too late last night.

The wind was up for sure.

It whistled and moaned.

Mad cause it couldn’t get in.

I sent it away.

It came back again.

The moon grew fat.

I knew why.

Love does flow.

Around in a circle.

To and from.

I feel love so damned strong.

The pulse is like a soft drum.

Don’t take it away.

I’ll be good and do nothing wrong.

Just let me hear – feel, that beautiful heart song.

It’s in the sky.

Part Two:

I lay abed and then the sun rose.

I love getting up to bills already paid.

Arrangements automated already made.

I wish the ones I fought with this morning were that way.

But I’m happy to have the money to get them paid.

The phone is on.

The internet works.

My rent will soon be paid, and so for another month within these walls I can lurk.

Soon, I’ll be strong. Singing and I’m well song.

Blue will be back. Spring will be here.

Oh, please let that hurry to me because I am so lonesome without my big Blue dog near.

We will play in the sun.

Watch the ducks.

Chase the geese to take their picture.

Oh, what fun.

Wade through the long grasses.

Having fun. Imagining this.

Oh, just one thing I’m gonna miss.

There’s one little part. In the secret pocket of my heart.

I have a wish tucked away.

I send it on bended wing as the geese fly away.

It will return to me again as a surprise on a beautiful day.
