I’ve attached photos of Trish’s dog Henry and a cover of her latest book, Gayle’s Tales.

I’m sending via way of Post by email, so let’s cross paws it works.

In the meantime, please enjoy Trish’s poem.

Limericks

Day 12 NPM

There’s a boardwalk around the lake.

A trip to that park we’ll take.

To see if it’s true.

We’ll know what to do.

A nice stroll around it we’ll make.

I have a daily run.

Routine is not simply for fun.

The who, what and where,

To know here and there.

And everything that day gets done.

There’s too much time off from school.

Why isn’t there some kind of rule?

It should be all year round.

And I state my ground.

Learning is a necessary tool.

Trish Hubschman is the author of the Tracy Gayle mystery series: Tidalwave, Stiff Competition, Ratings Game, Uneasy Tides, and Gayle’s tales.

I’m not particularly fond of limmerixcks and I had to pull my hair out to devise these but all in all they didn’t turn out too bad. The last line of my last limmerick says it all.

  2. Hey you did it and that’s all that matters.
    I mean you’ve not missed a day. That’s a big deal.
