Journey of Dreams

By Trish Hubschman

Day 10 NPM

I keep a journal

On the table beside my bed.

It’s for jotting down dreams I have

When I wake from deep slumber.

The visions are so clear Just then.

I must jot them down.

Tomorrow they will be lost.

Sometimes they’re silly.

Sometimes they’re not.

They’re of my journeys,

To far away lands,

To the sky, to the past or future.

I must put them down on paper

While they‘re fresh on my mind.

They’ll make stories or poems.

someday they may be a reality.

I love National Poetry Month. I’m having so much fun. I write at least one poem a day with the prompts. Being this creative daily is wiping me out though. I still love it

    1. You certainly must be disciplined.
