Sun Behind Clouds – The Storm

⛅

I just read the weather, look, and see!

What’s in store for you and me.

Sun, warmth, wind too.

Just perfect for a walk for us two.

Evening comes, so do the clouds.

But don’t turn that smile upside-down.

No! No! No!

Rain,
Wind,
Lightning,
Thunder,
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!

Be not afraid.

–The Creator made the storm.

Mother Nature blowing off steam!

Blowing off steam for sure!

Rid us of things no longer needed, sometimes that’s true.

But as with any war, there are casualties too.

Yet sometimes one can Renew.

Aftereffects

The storm’s blown away.

Winter’s back to stay.

The air fresh and clean,

even though the ravaging of the beast can be seen.

Trees on the ground, buildings torn down.

Think about what went away, and what was allowed to stay.

You who lose, don’t hide to lick your wounds.

Stand strong if you believe in what you had, then you must look eye to eye with me.

With me, and all.

We say, and believe,

As it is written –

“Everybody counts or nobody counts.”

Backstory.

I was sitting here at my desk, drinking coffee, reading email, and minding my business.

I opened the weather report for today and tomorrow Etc. and as I read and saw we are headed for a beautiful day today, with extraordinary changes coming. We’ll start with clouds, and wind, increase to rain and lightning, as well as loud volleys of thunder.

Then, tomorrow we’ll have cold and blustery weather with a wintry mix.

So, the poetry came out in a big gust and what’s above is what blew in.

And, if I’m honest, it was fun😜
