I dropped a set of Bluetooth earbuds in the sink
didn’t know they’d gotten on my plate
time for bingo
didn’t wanta be late
took the dishes to the kitchen
was thinkin’ about something else
my mind was itchin’
when I saw them sitting in the water there
I felt suddenly much despair
then I decided to take a chance
to sing a different tune
do a new life dance
took them to a window filled with sun
put them in between the glass and screen declaring
it is done
they are dry and working now
yes the magik of mother nature can be found
use what you have is a motto I’ve held long
and now my poem
which is much too long
is
done
