Today, for reasons known only to the sleep Gods, I woke at just after 3 AM. I’d not gone to sleep, until nearly 1 AM because I was reading Fairytale by Stephen King and it’s so good.
Thinking I had nothing to do today, I saw no reason I couldn’t stay up, I mean, I do so little these days, why not?
When I woke and realized I wasn’t going back to sleep, I got up made coffee and went on with my day.
Later this afternoon, I found myself in such a bad mood, after finally, convincing Blue we’d played enough ball and walked the apartment complex enough, we settled down to nap and though I only intended to sleep about 30 minutes or so, once again the sleep Gods had other ideas.
We snuggled in for our nap, at about 4:30 in the afternoon, and when I awoke a bit later, I saw we’d slept for 3 hours, and it was 7:30 in the evening.
Now, I’m wide awake and raring to go wile the rest of the world is winding down. Oh, the joys of sleeping issues, but never fear, there are books to write and even more to read, so as I finish a great time with “It’s Playtime” from the ACB (American Council of the Blind) community, a bowl of popcorn and a cup of iced coffee I’m ready to rock.
Will my muse awaken and place words on the page or will the end of this amazing book I’m reading win out? Stay tuned, for possible updates in the future, happy reading, and writing, may harmony find you and blessid be.
For now, this is Patty who is hyped up on coffee and Chief Seeing Eye® Dog Blue who is always on the case, who is currently claiming the entire bed because his mother is a silly Billy and slept when she should’ve been playing ball saying,
The coffee is hot, and the weather is too, so here’s some love for you.
