Because I wanted to be a singer when I was a teenager and enjoy entertaining as an adult, I was drawn to this book after reading a review of it a while back. But it wasn’t what I expected.
Just because you don’t necessarily resonate with a book, doesn’t mean the review itself is bad. You wrote a very good review. Thanks for sharing here. I plan to read the book. However, thanks to your review I’m watchful of the narration. So I will listen to the sample Audible provides and if I don’t like that I’ll get it in another format. I feel this type of writing might even go over better without anyone’s expression. It’s that type of reading. Journalism is much much different than any other type of writing. I’l let you know what i think.
