Journey Into the “Big C” – Telephone Hell The Land of Automation – Falling Behind – Feeling Drained

I am falling short of all my work today. I spent the entire first half of the day dealing with one phone call after another. When you set out to make three phone calls to departments within a hospital set aside at least three hours. I spent at least a half hour trying to get through the automated system to the right line, then a half hour to forty-five minutes on hold waiting for them to find what I needed and get it done. Then it was time to move onto the next call. When those were done, I received more calls and then there were digital copies to sign and send back and wait for texts to confirm. Then, if that was not enough the lab results for all my tests came back into my portal and I found out things about the oncology report I did not know because it was not fully back when they called to schedule all this.
It aint beautiful.
Anyhow, I’m in a blanket in my chair waiting on a Walmart order. I hope to get outside before the day gets gone. I’m so disgusted. I hope to hell they get it all when they do this surgery, I cannot imagine spending months or longer dealing in this hell.
I gave up on eating real food for lunch. I just had nothing that did not have to be cooked with prep work. I ate a bowl of banana pudding. Well, damn it it had fruit in it and milk. And I know for sure that vanilla wafers are a food group.
Now I’m having coffee and that’s got to be a food group too. I know this is all wrong. I need to be trying to be healthy but I’m telling you I’m just too drained to think about going into the kitchen and making something then working to clear it up I just cannot face that.

If vanilla pudding is what you need to help you through today then eat it. Sending you hugs.

    1. Hi, Robbie. I ate every bit of it and when I am able I’m going to get more. I sure know what I’ll buy to take to the next event we have here. I’m sure to gain points for that. Nobody cares when you bring stuff from this bakery. Oh I wish you could morph yourself here. we would enjoy this area. I can see you enjoying the nature and other wonderful things and I would like to have you go to the bakery and teach the cake art. Of course this would require us to be able to teleport around. LOL.
      Thanks Robbie. I appreciate you.
