Good morning. I hope all are well.

As many of you who follow me know, I got a cancerous result from a uterine biopsy I had done not long ago.

Now I’m getting ready to get rid of what they found.

A woman’s uterine lining should be 2 inches thick. Mine is eleven inches thick. As you can see there is a growth there. The biopsy swears it’s the Big “C.” The doctor swears we can get it all. After I’ll have some recovery time. Normally it’s a short stent. Because the growth is so thick the doctor says I should plan for a little more. Since being taken around by a 76-pound lab cross who only has two speeds which are no go and go flat out we have decided Blue must be cared for by someone else.

It’s a quiet morning here in Patty’s Worlds.

Last evening, at about 5:30 Blue left with a friend knowledgeable in caring for a guide dog. They’ve asked to remain anonymous, so we’ll refer to them as Blue’s Angel in our time of need.

Though my surgery is not until the 19TH it was decided that I’d go ahead and have them come to visit us and take him away when they went home. We wanted to make certain he got where he needed to be so I could get ready for, have and recover from my surgery. It worked out fine and I am certain Blue will do well. Dogs live in the now. So, he is simply enjoying what’s happening now. I’m sure he is anxious. A bit unsure. But Blue is a dog who takes everything in stride and as long as people know that he likes his belly rub first thing in the day all should go smoothly.

I’m having a much harder time with this than he is, I’m sure.

In the meantime, my inbox is empty until I open it. I have posts slated to go out all weekend long. So, once again I dive into the manuscript. Yesterday I wrote for five hours and ended up with 6,113 words.

For now, this is the human half of Team Blue saying, “Keep your nose to the ground and your tail waving at the sky.” And please, good Creator, don’t let me cry.”
