I Never Understood

Moon Phase Waxing Gibbous

I never understood,

the cry of dismay.

When things turned over,

rolling to the floor,

causing you to roar.

I never understood,

why you got so mad,

sometimes sad,

sometimes disgusted,

your nerve nearly busted.

Now, I’m older,

my hands don’t work so well,

it’s atrocious,

makes me feel ferocious!

When things fall on the ground,

if no one else is around,

I must get down,

down on the ground,

down on the ground and crawl around.

Looking here,

looking there,

every freaking where!

Finally, my fingertips, they touch,

the thrill,

it’s too much.

Then, the damn thing slides away,

maybe it’ll show another day,

in the meantime, what to do?

Do I keep looking or get a new,

a new this or that,

depends on what it was and where more are at.

Instead, Blue comes to call,

seems nature is on the mall.

Time to go in the yard,

no big deal,

just a few inches of cold, frozen cold,

nothing good comes from it I’m told,

Chief Blue would disagree,

he says, ‘it’s fine for me,

come along and see.’

Blessid Be.

Bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, fun! Fun! Fun!

But I don’t really think Tigger would like it.

Nope, Chief Blue! I’m the only one!

Aw, Patty, life is not easy.

    1. Hi, Robbie.
No, not easy but you can get some funny poetry out of it.
When I’m not in the thick of it I can laugh.
