Yesterday, I told my story
I shared parts of myself nobody knew
some chose to go away
I am not in the least discommoded
I know that Haiku is normally nature driven, but I find this a great way to counteract my upset or imbalance. Having to count syllables and keep up with the rhythm while thinking about what I want to say, dampens my discomfort and helps me channel it into something positive.
